Wayne has worked in the sustainability sector for many years. He was the founder and CEO of ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability Oceania, with which Local Governments saved over 20 million tonnes of CO2-e. He has consulted to a wide variety of organisations including the Green Building Council of Australia and the Bicycle Network, as well as many international groups such as the International Energy Agency. Wayne has presented at many conferences around the world and developed workshops to demonstrate practical approaches to sustainability. Wayne is married and has two daughters. They all live in Warrandyte, Victoria.

With a background in banking and finance including over 10 years in the financial planning area, Michelle brings a strong focus on process improvement, risk management and corporate governance. Michelle has a thorough understanding of the operational requirements that are a part of the changing carbon industry.

Michelle holds a Masters in Business (Change Management) and a Diploma of Financial Planning.

Michael has over 20 years experience in natural resource management. As a professional forester, he worked in Canada, Ireland, CSIRO, Conservation Commission of the Northern Territory and Natural Resources Conservation League.
He was Parks Manager at Bayside City Council in suburban Melbourne. After spending 2 years as a Financial Planner advising clients on agricultural investments post-GFC, he entered the not-for-profit sector at Conservation Volunteers Australia.
Michael lives with his family in Sandringham, where he answers the siren call of the sea.

Having worked at senior and board levels in for-profit and not-for-profit organisations, he brings extensive problem solving expertise to challenges with understanding of what it takes to fulfill a vision.

Rob has a passion for biodiversity restoration and climate change mitigation. Rob has led a distinguished career in local government in New Zealand and Australia in Parks Horticulture and conservation land management for over 35 years and is driven by a desire to make a difference in improving people's liveability.
Rob has been involved in biodiversity restoration and monitoring through roles as World President of the International Federation of Parks and Recreation, Director of Auckland’s world leading Regional Parks Network, and as Director of Parks Recreation and Environment for the City of Greater Geelong.

Gunther Jurkschat, combines a deep knowledge of the automotive industry with a passionate commitment to practical climate action.

With a career spanning three decades in large and small companies, Gunther has worked for global corporations in the aviation and resources industries, operated his own small business for almost a decade, and advocated for the automotive industry with the Motor Trades Association Queensland and Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC).

In his role as General Manager with VACC, Gunther is actively involved in growing the VACC membership base, developing and formulating policies, and overseeing the organisation’s commercial activities.

Gunther holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of NSW, and a Master of Business from University of Queensland. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Gunther is focused on Greenfleet’s ambitious strategic plan, and on sharing how carbon offsetting can address climate change, improve biodiversity and contribute to building better communities, and a better future for all Australians.

Jack is the Sustainability Manager for Fonterra’s APMEA region. Fonterra is a dairy farmer’s co-operative and the world’s largest milk processor. Prior to this Jack was a sustainability consultant for KPMG and worked with a range of industry and government clients in Australia, NZ and East Asia.  He was also the author of KPMG’s "CEO’s Guide to Carbon in Asia Pacific".

Previously Jack managed the CarbonTender™ project which established biodiverse carbon sinks for the Victorian Government (a Banksia award finalist in 2006). He first engaged with Greenfleet over a decade ago when procuring carbon offsets for Government fleet emissions.

David Lamb worked with Ford Motor Company in Australia and around the world before joining CSIRO.  He was chairman of aXessaustralia projects that resulted in more than $1.5 billion in automotive component export contracts. He was responsible for the CSIRO Low Emission Hybrid car, and the Holden ECOmmodore project between CSIRO and Holden, show at the 2000 Olympics.
David and his team won the CSIRO Chairman's Gold Medal for 2000. He led CSIRO's entry into alternative fuels research and energy storage technologies, and pursues the quest for more efficient fuel use as a member of the Jamison Group and as a member of Greenfleet Australia.

Angela McClowry is a Research Analyst at Cleanleap, a start-up focused on sharing insights on clean technology solutions such as renewable energy, and waste and water efficiency. Angela has fifteen years' experience in Sustainability, Environment and Corporate Responsibility.

Prior to her role at Cleanleap, she was sustainability manager for the Australian Food and Grocery Council, developing and implementing their 10-year industry-wide sustainability strategy. Ms McClowry has gained forestry experience whilst working for the agribusiness investment company Timbercorp, was an environmental analyst for British Energy in London, and a project manager with the global consulting firm Environmental Resources Management (ERM) in Chicago.


Greenfleet Board Member The Hon Tom Roper

The Hon. Tom Roper currently lives in Melbourne after eleven years overseas - Ottawa, London, New York - and has been involved in environmental policy at all levels - local to international.

Since his retirement, after 21 years in the Victorian Parliament (Australia), Tom has been an active Board Member of the Washington DC based Climate Institute, Global Urban Development and Greenfleet (Australia), an advisor to government, business and NGO's on sustainability issues and an Honorary Life Member of the Metropolis Association.

He is the Project Director of the Global Sustainable Energy Islands Initiative which provides assistance to Small Island States seeking to introduce renewable energy and energy efficiency measures. Tom is also Chair of the Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council and was appointed to the Board of Renewables SA by the Premier, Mike Rann.

Philip has degree qualifications in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Masters in Commercial Law, Grad Dip. in Company Secretarial Practice. He has worked in a variety of Accounting and Financial services firms at the senior level in Australia and Asia, both listed and unlisted. Philip has developed a keen interest in the area of business management and governance.  Philip is the Principal of Oakland Group Pty Ltd and he is a frequent guest speaker to industry, Not for Profit and Government bodies on developing governance procedures and efficiencies for management and Boards.

Greenfleet's Business Advisory Council is a group of executives from a range of industries, helping to promote the Greenfleet program and ethos throughout their industries.

Roger is one of the region’s foremost productivity improvement and organisational design experts. He has been an Assignment Director and Steering Committee member on over 40 transformation programs.  Roger also leads many of the Bevington Group’s transformation strategy assignments.

He is an experienced Company Director having sat on the Boards of a range of companies including E*TRADE Australia, ANZ International Ltd (Singapore), Greenfleet, and Bevington Consulting Pty Ltd. Roger also serves on advisory bodies such as the Victorian Government’s transformation program for public hospital processes.
Roger is a very active contributor to Australia’s charitable sector as the Chair of the World Vision Business Advisory Councils, and Chair of the Greenfleet’s Business Advisory Council.

Yvonne is a banking operations specialist with significant experience of wholesale and commercial banking operations covering financial markets, investment banking, superannuation & funds management and the international payments industry developed during a 20 year career with top tier banks around the globe. She has led a number of significant transformation initiatives, most recently at NAB, leading large global teams through major system implementations, process change, cultural change, centralisation and restructuring.

Greg spent 16 years in senior roles at ANZ Banking Group, including Managing Director of ANZ New Zealand and Managing Director of Australian Retail Banking.
Following ANZ, he served as Managing Director of AMP Financial Services (New Zealand). He then served as CEO of Superpartners Pty Ltd for five years. Greg retired from executive management in 2012.
He serves on the Boards of mecu Ltd (trading as bankmecu), Yarra Valley Water, iSelect Ltd and Bottlecyclers Pty Ltd. He is a Trustee of the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.

Joan is a professional non-executive director and an executive director with the Bevington Group. A qualified barrister, she has spent most of her working life managing commercial and manufacturing businesses and people. She joined the insurance industry in 1992 in London; became CEO of the Australian Insurance Institute in 1997. Joan was also a Director of the Institute Board for 16 years. She finished her tenure as CEO and Director on 31st December 2013.
Joan is also Director of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) since 2005, Chair of the federal governments' Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation since January 2013, Director of the CREATE Foundation, Member of the World Vision Advisory Board and of the Greenfleet Business Advisory Council.

Philip is the Chief Financial Officer of Grocon. Philip is an experienced company director, senior executive and corporate advisor with 25 years in leadership roles in financial services, property, agribusiness, international trade, commodities and logistics. Prior to joining Grocon, Philip was Managing Director of Agrium’s Asia Pacific business. Agrium acquired AWB in 2010 where Philip was Chief Financial Officer from 2008 to 2010 and Head of Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions from 2007 to 2008. Prior to this, Philip spent 10 years working for ANZ Banking Group in roles including Head of International Trade Finance, Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Banking Regional Executive.
