Ian Porter is Chief Executive Officer of the Alternative Technology Association, a not-for-profit organisation promoting sustainable technology and practice, and providing services to members who are walking the talk through good building design, water conservation, renewable energy and more.
Prior to this role, Ian was a Senior Consultant with The Nous Group. He worked with public and private sector organisations to develop policy and respond to major public policy challenges, particularly in the fields of climate change and energy.
Ian also spent 18 years in the Victorian Public Service. From 2000 to 2007 he led the Government's climate change policy capacity, as an Executive Director within the Department of Sustainability and Environment, recruiting and directing policy teams and delivering policy documents such as the Victorian Greenhouse Strategy (2002) and the Greenhouse Challenge for Energy (2004).
Ian was a Board Member on the CRC for Greenhouse Accounting until its completion in 2006.
Ian is recognised as a leading thinker and policy maker in the climate change and environmental policy arena, resulting from his extensive engagement and involvement in both state and national forums, within and external to Government.

Following a corporate career of 25 years, Gunther became involved with the Motor Trades Associations, firstly as a consultant, and then as the General Manager of the Motor Trades Association Queensland (MTAQ), a position he held for 6 years from 1996 to 2002.
Since 2006, Gunther has been the General Manager of Operations at the Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC) and is responsible for VACC's commercial activities. Prior to this appointment, he was the General Manager Divisions and Membership at the VACC for 4 years. In this role, he was actively involved in developing and formulating policies for the many and varied automotive industry sectors roofed under the VACC umbrella.
He was appointed as the inaugural Chairman of the Code Administration Committee (CAC) in September 2006 and remains an active member of this Committee to date.
Gunther currently sits on two other automotive industry Boards; the Automotive Alternative Fuels Registration Board and the Australian Refrigeration Council.
Vishaal holds a doctorate from Harvard Law School and is admitted to practise as a barrister and solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia. Working for a leading international consulting firm, his focus is government and regulatory strategy, and public policy. He has experience in mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law.

David Lamb worked for 28 years with Ford Motor Company in Australia and around the world before joining CSIRO. He was responsible for the CSIRO Low Emission Vehicle project that resulted in two hybrid electric show cars. The first aXcessaustralia car was shown around the automotive world to wide acclaim and facilitated more than $700 million of new export business. The second project, the low emission vehicle was exhibited around the world to carmakers as a showcase of Australian innovation.
David was also responsible for the collaboration between CSIRO and Holden Australia to produce the Holden ECOommodore Hybrid electric car, first shown publicly in May 2000. The car, a parallel-hybrid, was used by Holden in its Sydney 2000 Olympics promotional activities. For the low emission vehicle projects, David and his team won the CSIRO Chairman's Gold Medal for 2000. David later led CSIRO's entry into alternative transport fuels research and energy storage technologies. Now in semi-retirement, David is CSIRO's Chief Advisor for automotive technologies and strategy. He is a proud member of Greenfleet Australia's board and helps wherever he can to further fuel and energy reduction strategies.

Blair Lindsay is currently the Workplace Relations Manager at Bosch and with a special interest in sustainable futures he also holds a Non-Executive Director position with the ATA (Alternative Technology Association).
Over the years Blair has worked in a number of human resource positions across a variety of industries, including hospital and healthcare, aged care, manufacturing, engineering, and sales and distribution of consumer goods. As a result of this experience, he has gained a strong understanding of how to develop and implement practical solutions to enable organisations manage the complex work situation - the "human side of business".
Blair holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from La Trobe University and a Master of Management (Strategic Foresight) from Swinburne University of Technology. He is also a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).

The Hon. Tom Roper currently lives in Melbourne after 11 years overseas in Ottawa, London and New York. He has been involved in environmental policy at all levels, local to international. Since his retirement from the Victorian Parliament (Australia) he has been an active Board Member of the Washington DC based Climate Institute, Global Urban Development and Greenfleet Australia, an advisor to government, business and NGO's on sustainability issues and an Honorary Life Member of the Metropolis Association.
He is the Project Director of the Global Sustainable Energy Islands Initiative which provides assistance to Small Island States seeking to introduce renewable energy and energy efficiency measures, and an Observer in the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) SE Asia and Pacific Advisory Committee. During his time as a senior Government Minister his portfolios included Treasury, Planning and Environment, Health, Transport, Aboriginal Affairs, and Employment and Higher Education. He was the Leader of Government Business in the Legislative Assembly.
He has been appointed to the Board of RenewablesSA by the Premier, Mike Rann, is a Senior Fellow of Melbourne University's Australian Centre for Science, Innovation and Society, the Chair of the Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council and Chair of the NABERS (National Australian Built Environment Rating System) Stakeholders Advisory Committee and of the Commonwealth Tax Breaks for Buildings Roundtable.
