Keep Australia Beautiful WA provides leadership in the field of litter prevention and reduction. Through community awareness, education, legislation and enforcement strategies we work to change the attitudes and behaviours of the community and strive for a litter-free WA.
Tidy Towns - Sustainable Communities is an annual awards program for regional communities. It is Keep Australia Beautiful's flagship program. Since 1969 Tidy Towns has fostered: pride in regional communities; protection of cultural and natural heritage values; and a sustainable future. The program is free to enter and is judged at regional, state and national levels.
We are proud to reduce the environmental impact of travel during the Tidy Towns judging period. Through contributing to native forest planting, we are helping to: soak up carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, reduce soil erosion and salinity, improve water quality and provide habitat for native animals.
