Climate Change Science - The Basis for Action
Yesterday in Cairns, the Greenhouse 2011 Conference opened to Australian scientists and representatives from industry and all levels of government who are here to hear leading researchers from Australia and around the world present the latest in climate change science.
Australian Minister for Climate Change and Energy Efficiency, the Hon Greg Combet AM MP, addressed the Cairns Convention Centre with a video opening speech about the impacts of Climate Change in Australia and the role Science plays in building community consensus.
