27 May 2010 Raise more money to raise more trees
We all know that trees and native forests help to recapture carbon, provide habitat for wildlife, reduce salinity and erosion and much more.
Please help Greenfleet plant even more native forests, by raising money as part of the Greenfleet team when you participate in Run Melbourne on 18 July 2010.
Run Melbourne's motto is 'Anyone can' and they really mean it. With a
5km Walk or Run, a
10km Run or a
HalfMarathon (26km run) - there really is something that anyone, or should we say everyone, can do.
To join our fundraising efforts you need to register to participate in both the Run Melbourne event and our fundraising team at Everyday Hero. Here are all the details you will need:
- Register for the actual Run Melbourne event at http://www.runmelbourne.com.au/home.php - our team name is Greenfleet
AND
- Join the Greenfleet RunMelbourne fundraising team at Everyday Hero.
You can join our team and our fundraising efforts by registering here: http://runmelbourne.everydayhero.com.au/events/choose_a_charity/1150?join_team=13393
If you haven't already done so, you will be asked to register for Everyday Hero and make your very own fundraising page. The website will take you through the process step by step - remember to select Greenfleet as your charity.
If you already have an Everyday Hero login (ie. you created one when you registered for Run Melbourne), you can just click the team link above, login and join our team from there.
You will be asked to enter a team password. Our password is: greenfleet
Once you join the team, any money you raise will be added to our Team Total.
Of course, the final step is to ask all your friends, family and colleagues to support your Run Melbourne efforts and donate to Greenfleet. You can even send your fundraising page via email or link to facebook and twitter to make it easy.

Thank you for supporting Greenfleet and making a difference.
