Program Partners Greenfleet is proud to partner with the following organisations in the challenge to reduce the impact of emissions. ____________________________________________
Plant 80,000m2 of trees – equivalent to all Servcorp office space in 2008 Servcorp realises that global warming is one of the most serious challenges facing our planet today. That is why we have chosen to partner with Greenfleet to assist with offsetting carbon emissions by creating biodiverse native forests in areas of environmental concern. For every Virtual Office purchased online for an Australian / New Zealand location, Servcorp will purchase and plant a tree on our client’s behalf at no cost to them. The Virtual Office concept, pioneered by Servcorp nearly a decade ago is an environmentally friendly option for your office needs through the use of shared resources and less people commuting into city centres. Work from home or from any Servcorp Virtual Office around the world and have access to boardrooms, meeting rooms and administrative services instantly. Servcorp provides prime office space in the best locations accommodating up to 10 team members in business city centres worldwide. As a Servcorp client, you have access to professional, multilingual office support teams, as well as innovative IT and communications systems and global IT support. Servcorp leases almost 80,000 square metres of office space and our goal is to plant enough trees to cover this space – that’s a goal of 8,000 trees to be pledged on behalf of Virtual Office users in 2008. To find out about purchasing and using a Virtual Office, please visit our website at www.servcorp.com.au. ____________________________________________

For every new car sold between 1 August 2007 and 30 June 2008 and every used car sold between 1 August 2007 and 31 December 2007, Ferntree Gully Nissan funded the planting of 17 Native Australian Trees. This means that our natural environment will benefit significantly with around 7,500 new trees being planted on behalf of Ferntree Gully Nissan customers. Ferntree Gully Nissan is Nissan's most awarded Dealer in the history of the franchise in Australia, and the only Nissan Dealer in the world to have won the Global Customer Satisfaction Award in each of the five consecutive years since the award began. It is also the current title holder of the VACC Dealer of the Year Award against all other brands. Situated at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria, Ferntree Gully Nissan take their social and environmental responsibilities very seriously. This carbon offset program is the latest addition to a long line of community based initiatives aimed at contributing in a meaningful way to the local community that has supported their Dealership so well over the years. We feel that protecting and respecting the environment is in perfect harmony with our motto of ‘no unhappy customers’. Visit the Ferntree Gully Nissan website for more information.

Ausfleet have helped to develop Greenfleet's new CO2 Cost Cutter - a free online calculator to model the fuel efficiency and carbon emissions of fleet vehicles for fleet managers. So now it's easy for fleet managers to model the benefits of switching to more efficient vehicles before making any investment in the new vehicles. The fleet calculator was developed with funding from the 2006 Drive for Charity.
Sydney’s Eastern Distributor, M4 and M5 Motorways are proud supporters of Greenfleet through the Drive for Charity. This is an annual event which sees the Eastern Distributor, M4 and M5 join forces and donate the proceeds of all tolls collected over a 24 hour period to charity. Through Drive for Charity, the Eastern Distributor, M4 and M5 are assisting Greenfleet to conduct rigorous research into the carbon capacity of its native forest estates and to develop online tools which allow vehicle fleet managers to plan for an improve their fleet’s greenhouse performance. They are also helping to develop a community education program around sustainable transport. Greenfleet would like to thank participants in the 2007 Drive for Charity for helping to raise more than $117,000 for our programs. CARSguide.com.au is concerned about climate change and global warming. We recognise the impact that carbon emissions have on the environment and we are dedicated to reducing these emissions. In June 2007, as a first step towards this goal,
Europcar Australia has partnered with Greenfleet to offset the carbon emissions of every new vehicle that is added to its fleet. Europcar Asia Pacific CEO Josh Green (pictured left) hopes the move to become a greener car company will help promote environmental awareness in the car rental industry and amongst consumers: “As one of Australia’s major car rental operators, we have more than 6,000 vehicles on our fleet and we anticipate the creation of a very substantial forest as we replace our fleet. We are proud to be the first Australian car rental company to commit to such an agreement and are seeking the support of customers and the motoring public in our efforts”. The campaign was kicked off when Europcar took delivery of its 836 new Subarus from their National Fleet and Corporate Sales Manager, Andrew Sinclair(pictured right). Learn More
