Team Smartsalary plants 850 native seedlings

For the past six years Smartsalary has been working with Greenfleet to offset carbon emissions produced by cars leased through Smartleasing.

On September 26, 15 motivated volunteers from Smartsalary joined Greenfleet and Sutherland Shire Buschcare team to revegetate the dunes behind Wanda Beach, Cronulla, NSW.

After 5 hours of hard work, the team planted 850 native seedlings, including wattles, pig face plants and spinifex. It was just an example of what the tremendous support from Smartsalary help achieve on the ground.

Since 2008, we have planted more than 855,000 native trees on behalf of Smartsalary staff and customers. In fact, since our partnership began, Smartsalary customers have re-vegetated an area 6 times the size of Melbourne CBD! A big thank you to everyone involved in the program!

From everyone at Greenfleet, thanks to the team for your dedication! It was a great pleasure to work with you on this day.

Here’s a few photos and a short video of everyone in action:
