Greenfleet partner with Smartsalary at AHRINC 2015

Greenfleet partnered with long standing supporter Smartsalary at the Australian Human Resources Institute Conference held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre 25, 26 & 27 August.

The ARINC conference is Australia’s largest HR and people management exhibition, run by Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI), the national association representing HR and people management professionals.

It was wonderful to showcase our unique partnership with Smartsalary, Australia's most awarded salary packaging and novated leasing company. Smartsalary enable their customers to offset carbon emissions with Greenfleet, from their novated lease car.

Our theme for AHRI was ‘sustainability,’ which showcased Smartsalary’s unique achievement of one million trees planted with Greenfleet through their customer’s donations.

A big congratulations goes to the winners of our ‘win a forest planted in your honour’ competition. Delegate winners included: 100 trees – Michaela Field, 50 trees – Sarah Ellis, 25 trees - Susanne Sutherland and 10 trees – Nicholas Gold.

On behalf of Smartsalary, Greenfleet will plant these trees in their honour, to establish a biodiverse forest. As well as offsetting greenhouse gas emissions, this action is helping to improve water quality, reduce soil degradation and provide essential habitat for wildlife.

It was great to speak with many AHRI delegates who were interested in taking real climate action and improving their organisations environmental footprint. Thank you to all our clients, supporters and the HR community for giving us such wonderful feedback and conversations at AHRI.
