Located in the Strzelecki Ranges between Warragul & Korumburra in Southern Victoria, Greenfleet’s forest at Mt Worth State Park is just thriving! These two contrasting images show what can be achieved in just over 5 years.

This site was a cleared farming area for decades, until it was eventually protected as a State Park in 1978. The natural regeneration process failed to make an impact on the area. Fast forward to 2006, Greenfleet revegetated this area and have now planted around 68,518 native trees and shrubs.

Not only has Greenfleet’s native forest reduced weed and deer numbers in the area, it has also increased biodiversity levels and native animal habitats. Our foresters have reported that growth rates of the trees are the highest within Greenfleet’s list of sites and will continue to prosper with the excellent conditions and species types.
