3,000 native trees planted by Greenfleet’s corporate supporters

Last Friday, 70 corporate volunteers joined the Greenfleet team at ‘The New Forest’, in Newham, Victoria, for our annual Planting Day event. Fifteen organisations swapped their work shoes for gumboots and trekked through the mud for a day of practical climate action, team bonding and fresh air.

Between 2008 - 2013, Greenfleet partnered with Parks Victoria to revegetate the 1005-ha area of land around the Mornington Peninsula's Devilbend Reservoir. Today, the site is a flourishing nature reserve, providing habitat for native wildlife and a recreational haven for the local community.
