Workplace First Aid And Critical Climate Action

Brenniston Workplace First Aid produce high-quality, Australian-made first aid kits, supplying workplaces nationwide. They joined Greenfleet in 2021, motivated by a long-held belief in giving back to the community and the environment.

For me it's critical to set an example of responsible corporate behaviour. Unfortunately, medical supplies do negatively impact the environment so, it's our duty to limit that impact in whatever way we can” says Pia Abrahams, co-owner of Brenniston.

Partnership With Greenfleet

Brenniston contribute $1 to Greenfleet from every premium National Standard Workplace First Aid Kit sold to offset carbon emissions.

Since 2021, Brenniston has contributed to removing more than 3,400 tonnes of CO2-e through their climate action.

Founders, Pia and Michael have also been regular participants in our annual planting events, seeing first hand the work they are enabling with Greenfleet. Pia says “Greenfleet involves their supporters in their activities. The proof is there, you've planted millions of trees, and I love that it's also about biodiversity and supporting a whole range of wildlife”.

Environmental Initiatives At Brenniston Workplace First Aid

As Brenniston looks to the future, they are continuing their climate action and restoring more biodiverse forests.

Working with Greenfleet is just one part of their approach to sustainability.

  • They are working with Victorian company APR Plastics who take soft plastic packaging and turn it into recycled plastic resin for reuse. Brenniston also regularly source plastic packaging alternatives like cane sugar plastics, and reuse cardboard packaging.
  • To reduce waste, Brenniston donate products from audited first aid kits to the Medical Pantry, an Australian Charity that rescues unused medical supplies and delivers it to underserved communities.
  • Brenniston are incorporating electric vehicles in their fleet and looking to install solar panels on their offices to utilise solar energy.

Greenfleet is proud to partner with Brenniston, to deliver climate action on their behalf.   Find out more about Brenniston Workplace First Aid.
