McMillan Shakespeare Group’s (MMS) purpose is to make a positive difference to people’s lives, and they’ve been growing hope with Greenfleet for over 10 years.
MMS provides salary packaging, novated leasing, National Disability Insurance Scheme plan management and fleet management services across Australia and New Zealand. The organisation is committed to supporting a low carbon economy and delivering positive environmental outcomes for its stakeholders and staff.
MMS, via its fleet brand Interleasing, recently celebrated 10 years of removing carbon with Greenfleet. By offsetting carbon emissions with us, MMS is enabling ongoing reforestation to create vital wildlife habitat and biodiverse ecosystems.
Partnership With Greenfleet
When MMS first approached Greenfleet, it wanted to help its customers offset the carbon emissions generated by its Interleasing fleet vehicles.
“One of our sustainability goals is to support the transition to a low carbon economy,” said Adam Morrison, CEO, Asset Management Services at MMS. “We chose to partner with Greenfleet to provide a solution to our customers who were looking to take accountability of the emissions associated with their fleets or vehicles through a novated lease.”
Since partnering with us in 2015, Interleasing’s support has enabled an incredible 6,800+ tonnes of C02-e to be removed from the atmosphere. Furthering its commitment to the environment, in 2020 MMS added Scope 1 and 2 emissions to its offsetting commitments.
MMS has supported the reforestation of several of our major large-scale projects, including the Strzelecki Nature Link on Boonwurrung Country in Victoria, and Ivory Creek, growing on Yuggera Country in Southeast Queensland.
It's not just about hitting on-paper sustainability targets: Greenfleet’s planting days give the MMS team the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and get firsthand experience restoring nature. They enjoy getting out of the office to learn about forests, biodiversity and the cultural history of their local country, which also supports MMS’s Reconciliation Action Plan.
The team feels proud that by planting with Greenfleet, their forests are protected for up to 100 years, delivering environmental benefits for generations to come.

Environmental Initiatives At MMS
With its goal of supporting the transition to a low carbon economy, in financial year 2025 MMS achieved environmental measures such as:
- Transitioning 54 percent of its fleet to electric vehicles, eclipsing the target of 20 percent [1]
- Sourcing 100 percent GreenPower for controllable sites [2]
- Achieving an average 5-star NABERS Energy rating across their corporate leased space [3]
- Helping clients transition to low or zero emission vehicles.
“Sustainability is an important component of the MMS strategy and aligns with our purpose of making a positive difference to people’s lives,” said Adam. “By partnering with Greenfleet we’re able to proactively account for our emissions today whilst looking at ways to continue to reduce our emissions.”
Greenfleet is proud to support MMS’ sustainability goals and deliver climate action on its behalf.
