Greenfleet is committed to advancing reconciliation through our work restoring and protecting native forests. This year’s NRW theme, Bridging Now To Next, encompasses the work we strive to do in moving forward with reconciliation and working with Traditional Owners.
It has never been more important to protect our environment and our planet. This World Environment Day, Greenfleet celebrates the work we are doing to restore native forests with our supporters, making a positive impact on our Earth.
Technology may not be the first thing that comes to mind in the restoration of ecosystems. But having restored legally protected native forests for over 25 years, Greenfleet has seen technology evolve within the environmental sector and uses facilitate elements of our work.
Earth Day is a timely reminder of the need to protect our precious Earth. Now, more than ever, we must work together to protect our environment, grow our forests, and support native wildlife.
World Wildlife Day is on March 3rd, creating an opportunity for us to celebrate the exciting wildlife outcomes we see because of our native reforestation projects. From finding Victoria’s unique koalas in our Strzelecki Nature Link, to providing habitat for some of our most recognisable native birds, Greenfleet’s forests are supporting Australia’s iconic wildlife in many ways.
